Premier Pythons won the Exhibitor's Choice award for Best Centralian Carpet Python.  Our yearling Hypo male at left took out the award.

All of the Centralians on display were of a very high quality so we were very lucky to take out this award.

Our adult female Tennant Creek Stimson's Python (left) proved popular at this year's Expo.  She won the Exhibitor's Choice Award for Best Stimson's Python.

She displays some very unusual patternation with an overall chocolate pin-stripe.  We can't wait to see how her offspring will turn out this coming season!

'Sylvie' (left), our adult female Centralian Knob-Tailed Gecko, proved to be a huge hit both with the general public and enthusiasts alike.

Her unusual white-phase colouration ensured she took out the Exhibitor's Choice Award for Best Gecko at the Expo.  (Photo courtesy of Nathan Jasch)

The 2008 Queensland Reptile Expo welcomed close to 1500 visitors through its doors.  Some enthusiastic patrons are perusing the Premier Pythons display (photo courtesy of Adam).  Click on the picture to enlarge.

Over 130 reptiles were on display at the Expo.  These are just some of the animals we had on show.

Our Green Tree Pythons proved extremely popular and were probably one of the most photographed specimens on the day.  The female, in particular, seemed to enjoy all the attenton!

There were some absolutely fantastic animals on display at the Expo including some wonderful Albino Darwins.  We had a chance to see how ours may turn out in the future.  Nevertheless, our hatchling female (left) proved popular among enthusiasts.  (Photo courtesy of Mark Neath).

Event organizer Simon casts his eye over one of our Sandfire Womas moments before doors open to the Expo.  All credit must go to Simon &  the organizers for their hard work and dedication.  The people of Gladstone should also be congratulated for the enthusiasm and interest they showed in the Expo.

The 2008 Queensland Reptile Expo was a huge success.  I'm sure it will be back (even bigger) next year.  We've already started talking about what species to exhibit at the 2009 event!  We hope to post more pictures from the Expo over the coming days so check back again soon.
